Old Postcards

Old postcards are collectables. I just found this image of a 1909 postcard of the hospital and nurse's quarters in Corry, PA. I found it because this is the small town I was born in and I am always looking at things about Corry.

It is like viewing a small part of history of the town I was born in. Which is fun to me. Gee, how much more fun would it be if it had been a postcard with a photo of my grand mother's brother who had a major influence in building up the hospital in Corry.

Postcards are becoming more and more popular as the card media for all type of occassions. And why not ? Postcards save on postage and the save on paper usage. All other media require envelopes to send what ever card is inside. By eliminating the the envelope you have just cut the paper usage down by half for a single card.
